Douglas Hardware Hank, in Douglas, Wyoming, expanded the store last year and has dubbed the complex “Hardare Hank Plaza.” The plaza consists of two buildings and Garden Market, which is their live goods offering.
To celebrate the expansion, Douglas Hardware Hank held a grand opening celebration May 7-9, 2009. The store also features Pet Market, Wild Bird Market and Back Yard Chef to provide you with a professionally organized selection of merchandise in each of those categories.
Larry Leake, the Manager of Douglas Hardware Hank oversaw the expansion project and did a lot of work himself! Splitting merchandise between two buildings is a challenge, and a work in progress. “I’m still tweaking the merchandise in each building trying to organize it in a way that makes sense,” Larry says. “I’m looking into connecting the two buildings in the future, but right now the customers don’t mind at all.”
